What Am I Reading?
At the current moment I am reading a book titled The Zombie Survival Guide and the author is Max Brooks. Max Brooks happens to be the author of the book World War Z that became one of the greatest zombie movies ever (in my opinion). The book starts out by telling about the virus, Solanum. Which is the main source of how people are becoming zombies. Then the book continues on to describe the cautions you should take if you come in contact with a zombie, and how to kill them. Overall I am really liking the book because its very unique and has a good tone to it.
Looking For Alaska by John Green
This book was an absolute favorite of mine. John Green has become one of my favorite authors because of this book. "Looking For Alaska" was a story that had a deeper meaning behind everything but you didn't get to see that until the end of the book. It's an emotional read; there were some parts where I had to hold back the tears. I also felt like I related with each of the main characters in one way or another and I believe that Green did that on purpose. I would highly suggest reading "Looking For Alaska" if you enjoy a book filled with humor, sadness, and deep meaning.
Matched by Allie Condie
Out of all the books I have read this past semester, "Matched" by Allie Condie is my favorite. This book is all about that first thought of rebellion. It reminds me of the Hunger Games although I've only seen the movies. It has a romance triangle in it which I believe is interesting because there was a lot of conflict throughout the book. I liked this book because it showed a huge character change and made the characters more interesting in the end--I think. I hope that in the future I have the chance to read both of the sequels because the ending was absolutely magnificent and made me wanting more.
